CLM Connects is forging partnerships with residents, communities, educational and cultural institutions throughout New York City. By developing student educational activities, hosting events and facilitating new opportunities to experience the power of live music, we are connecting more New Yorkers and visitors to music and strengthening the importance of the arts in our society.

 


Piano in Bryant Park's Summertime, and the "livin' is easy" concert series is a free public event that features toe-tappin' performances by New York's finest, playing ragtime, stride, and jazz to your Heart's Delight.

Learning Live, is a series of free educational clinics presented to students, professional and amateur musicians alike. These clinics feature consummate performers and teachers in their fields such as legendary drummer and recording artist Bernard Purdy and leading front-man, harmonica player Rob Paparozzi, Grammy nominees Janet Lawson, jazz vocalist and composer/writer Lewis Porter, Ph.D., singer Jazzmeia Horn, the winner of the 2015 Thelonious Monk Institute International Jazz Competition.
