Arts education

The CLM offers a wide array of in-school and after-school programs from individual and group instrumental instruction to concerts and workshops, working with the individual schools to find the best program for their specific student population. The CLM’s extensive pool of teaching artists includes musicians who play on Broadway, at Lincoln Center and Radio City as well as the major Jazz venues and clubs throughout NYC. The CLM is committed to its diversity of teaching artists and panel professionals, bringing together prominent artists and industry professionals that serve as role models to these young students. These artists have extensive teaching careers working in the public schools as well as institutions such as the New School, Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, Columbia and NYU, to name a few.
