Jazz Mentors Student Jams provide students and audience members the unique opportunity to perform with and be mentored by some of New York's most famous and celebrated performing artists in a safe, supportive and controlled environment. Students ranging from 12 years old through college age are invited on stage to perform and improvise with a professional rhythm section and guest artist/moderator who offer supportive and encouraging critic through-out. This is a cornerstone experience for any jazz musician.
